Forgot to turn on domain auto-renew and got it expired for a week last month...(How could I...)
The keywords ranking and SEO traffic dropped radically ever since, and lots of top-ranking pages disappeared in Google search results.

Even after I successfully renewed the domain name, the traffic did not recovery at all.
Now I've waited for over 10 days for the traffic to come back but nothing happened.
However, when I checked Google Search Console, I found that the number of indexed pages are now slowly increasing again.

Has anyone ever met this before? What should I do for faster recovery?

Hi Lillian_D and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

If you see your pages are recovering, I would just keep checking because interrupting a recovering track can set things back, restarting the track they have started.
