Hi Forum,

Does it make sense to delete the disavow file? A Google employee recommended doing this if no manual action is displayed. Google would devalue or not consider the automatic spam links themselves. What do you think? Is this true?

Google isn't paying much attention to disavow submissions, for a long time now. It has been announced more than once. Google is able to spot and ignore junk links and "disavow" was intended for people to use when they were the source of the links on their disavow list.

Deprecated some time ago. Wouldn't worry about it.
