Some time high DA websites listed below the low DA websites, but quality of the website defines by the DA. Sounds odd but looks SERP was changing day by day. what's your POV?

Hello. I am new here.

As my first participation, MOZ developed Domain Authority (DA) to give us an idea of how the website will probably perform in the organic search. However, it does not directly influence the search engine or is being used to control the SERPs of a website because of the DA score. This means that the DA score is a guide to help you improve the SERPs, but it doesn't mean it directly affects the SERPs of the website.

Hi ared2023 and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

You are right, Google does not care about a DA rating. They do not use DA for anything. DA is a proprietary measurement used by MOZ tools.

A couple of old references:
2021: "No effect on Google Search": Bots, DA & PA. per John Mueller: [webmasterworld.com...]

It may affect your page ranking, but indirectly.

DA reflects the overall authority and credibility of a domain. If a website has a high DA, it is generally more likely to have pages that rank well in search results because it often means the website has acquired high-quality backlinks.
