Welcome to WebmasterWorld irfy
is it normal?

Define normal in the context of Google!

Hardly anyone knows what G is doing and it's very unlikely they know too, other than possibly trying to integrate AI into search and load as many ads as they possibly can in their desperation to fleece us all.

You've been having issues since 1st May 2023? Congratulations, you've done extremely well if you have not seen any volatility not only this year but especially the last 7-8 years.

Delayed site updates, 301s, non-indexing and many other issues are plaguing Google's SERPs and I very much doubt whether it will ever get any better.

It seems like you're experiencing a sudden drop in search engine rankings for the new posts on your websites, even though they are indexed and your older posts are still ranking well. There could be several reasons for this issue, and it might not necessarily be normal. Here are some factors to consider:

Google algorithm update: Sometimes, Google rolls out updates that can temporarily or permanently affect search rankings. Check if there have been any recent algorithm updates that might have impacted your websites.

Content quality: Ensure that the new content you're publishing is of high quality, well-researched, and valuable to your audience. Poor-quality content might not rank well in search results.

Keyword optimization: Make sure your new posts are properly optimized for the target keywords, including appropriate use of keywords in the title, meta description, URL, headers, and content.

Indexing issues: Although you mentioned that your new posts are indexed, double-check to ensure they are properly indexed and there are no crawling or indexing errors in the Google Search Console.

Backlinks: The number and quality of backlinks pointing to your new posts can significantly affect search rankings. Try to build high-quality backlinks to improve the visibility of your new content.

Technical SEO: Check for any technical issues on your websites, such as broken links, slow page loading times, or mobile-unfriendly designs, which might be negatively affecting the search rankings of your new posts.

Google sandbox: For new websites or those that have undergone significant changes, Google may temporarily place them in a "sandbox," resulting in lower rankings. This usually resolves itself over time as the website gains trust and authority.

Investigating these factors should help you identify the cause of the ranking drop for your new posts and allow you to take corrective action if necessary.
