Traffic issue from Google

Starting from Jan 2023 website traffic has been going down. The number of indexed pages, backlinks, and keywords is growing. But the traffic is going down. Any ideas? Because I checked everything and don't understand what's going on. The main change I've done is to apply redirection from the website version with "www" to the version without "www".

Google sees www.example.com and example.com as two different domains and it can be seen as four different domains if it also involves https vs. http versions. To monitor each domain you should create a new GSC account for each version so you can monitor the traffic decreasing on the 'old' version vs. increasing on the 'new' version.

Have you checked the traffic declining date and the dates of site migration changes are same ? If yes then there might some issues with configuration of rules setting. If not, you may try to find out if there are any other change has been also made.

If the GSC account is with www and now it redirects to non-www then you will see natural decreases in the GSC account. To see the increases, a new GSC account for the 'new' domain should be created. Also you can look at your logs to see what server response is shown.

The fact the traffic is DECREASING is a good sign. It suggests that your redirect is working properly. However, you need to see the NEW (redirected) site and that means a new GSC account. These are two separate sites in g's records.
