Site ranks only for its brand name in incognito mode
Anyone else experienced this?

Its a newish site but USED to rank for its brand name in google search.
Now, nowhere, but it does rank, in incoginito mode.
This happens, for everyone, everywhere, not just me.

In anything but incognito mode you are getting personalised results, so its not a true representation of the SERPs. What are you seeing in Search Console?

Literally, no-one sees the site, in normal mode, searching for the brand. I have tested on multiple computers, multiple people, multiple countries.
Search console, says the home page is not indexed. And yet, the page ranks for brand name + main product. Even for brand name + domain extension. Just not for brandname Home page appears in site and cache results

So... no one? Its NOT a personalised issue. No one sees the site, unless they are in ingonito mode, when they search for the brand.

I think some are trying to wrap minds about the described behavior... give it a little more time!

Old post but this happens sometimes, was the issue solved?
Use something like (a keyword tool) to check the keyword in different countries.

It was solved, in an annoying, nonsense way.
A. We create a subdomain. Populated it with similar content. b. It started to rank. c. We 301ed back to the main domain. d. It then started to rank.
