Many reports have come in over Google Search preferred language issue, which Google says is due to Mobile First Indexing. It goes on to say it's investigating solutions, and indicates it is likely to take some time to resolve.

They have long ignored preferred language browser settings. I've often wondered how that degrades the value for their ads. They do it on YouTube also. Forcing people to watch ads that they don't comprehend is sort of useless.
