Is it normal for direct traffic taken 90% of the total amount?

I have checked the new website's traffic structure via Google Analytics and I found a weird structure.
90% of my B2B site's traffic is from the direct traffic and the rest 10% are organic search, organic social and referrals.
I have thought for some ideas like these traffics may come from the email marketing made by our sales teams or bots? I have also noticed some website mentioned that some organic searchs will be categorised into direct traffic in GA due to their browsers' problems and so on. However I still fail to confirm the main reason.
Does anyone have the similar situations before? Thanks a lot.

It’s not unusual for a brand new site, especially if you’re advertising off the internet, but if your search engine traffic hasn’t started picking up after 3-6 months then you maybe need to look at your SEO

Direct traffic means your initial advertising/word-of-mouth worked as intended. Organic, on the other hand, takes time and proper content delivery (ie, what people search for). As noted above, time will be required for folks to find you(r niche) and what is offered.

<dissenting viewpoint>
What on earth are you concerned about? If a site can grow and thrive without any reliance whatsoever on search engines, you have got it made.
