Google said Friday that it's experiencing ongoing indexing issues preventing new content and articles from appearing in Search. This means that when you're searching for terms on Google, any new articles recently published won't appear in Search.
There's an ongoing issue with indexing in Google Search that's affecting a large number of sites. Sites may experience delayed indexing. We're working on identifying the root cause. Next update will be within 12 hours.<p> [twitter.com...]
AI testing again? IMHO the AI is behaving inexpectingly. Since the AI handles those things pages get throwing out, indexing is kind of shaky for many.

Hi! Did anyone else experience any robots.txt issues on July 15th from the indexing error?
On Friday several pages on my site were marked with a warning on GSC "indexed, though blocked by robots.txt". I validated/tested the pages and they are all crawler allowed. I double-checked the sitemap and they are there too. I also looked into CMS and nothing was set to block.
Is there anything else I should check or do?

It seems to affect their UK share price queries too, maybe coincidental. e.g. "bt share price"
They're all from a baseline of 0 vs the Nasdaq/Dow Jones.
