As per the question.
Last year, Google did an announced two piece rollout which was supposed to be a full one update (just halved).
Websites that lost in June went back up in the July update. I remember lots of people legitimately complaining in the June update and then their traffic going back in July.
So, do you think Google is doing the same this summer as with last summer?
I understand what this update did, but this is the first time that I am without words with the type of absurd content ranking (we've gained and lost in this update, so neutral and not complaining).
Wikipedia is out for some important queries (that can only be edited by senior experts) and has been replaced by clearly spammy websites.
For a lot of health keywords, highly trusted .GOV websites are out and replaced by commercial driven web pages. This includes for Covid related stuff.
Sh*tlisticles with content written by freelancers is surprisingly up, websites that have true experts in the fields are lost among the amount of sh*tlistcles.
We've checked the winners and know what they've done. Google mentioned that it was rewarding web pages in this update but I thought that some of these spammy tricks would not be rewarded any more since at least 2016.
I would not be surprised if Google did another update soon but I would also not be surprised if Google didn't update again until winter.
Since another summer update hasn't been announced, your takes on any new updates?
