Google bots are freaking me out since the end of February/beginning of March. It fits with Google Update for core web vitals...but I'm not 100% sure. We are e-commerce with local TDL and more than 40 sites. What's happening is that Google is making thousands of requests with 0s session duration and 100% bounce rate. These requests are enough to generate a TimeOut on our site. Also, this is penalizing my Smart Shopping campaigns due to the merchant center saying when they crawl the website that the landing page is unavailable...
We requested through Search Console a reduction of requests during 90 days and improved a little bit, but still not working 100%. These bots are overloading our Data Base during the day, at least 4 or 5 times per week.
