Hello Webmasters,

From past weeks, when I'm trying to index any URL in URL Inspection Tool, it's showing that Something went wrong If the issue persists, try again in a few hours, before this i used to manually index up to 50 URLs in URL Inspection Tool. Please help me out with this.

Thank You.

welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], Pavan1234!

There is a daily limit to how many index requests you can submit.

source: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?hl=en#request_indexing

i thought i read somewhere recently that the number was 10.
regardless, i would assume that it could change without notice, perhaps depending on how you use it.

When they tell you that you are over the limit, they expect you to stop submitting more. Their URL inspection tool is not intended to be a means to index pages. it is to check whether they can index your pages.

It's been weeks, whenever I tried to submit the index request in inspection tool this error is popping out, Incase if I've crossed the limited atleast it would have showed me the different error like " Quota Exceeded-- try again tomorrow" but this error is different. Anyone faced this issue? If yes, please suggest me the solution for this.

If you would visit the link that phranque posted, you could see that the tool is not for the purpose of indexing URLs, it reports what URLs are in the index.

At that URL you could read:
Important notes:

This is not a live test. This tool describes the most recently indexed version of a page, not the live version on the web. The information shown in the tool is used by Google to evaluate Search results. Your page may have changed or become unavailable since Google last saw it. To test the current version of the page as Google would see it, select the Live Test button on the page.
"URL is on Google" doesn't actually mean that your page is appearing in Search results. Actual appearance in Search results requires that the page and its structured data conform to quality and security guidelines. The URL Inspection tool doesn't take into account manual actions, content removals, or temporarily blocked URLs. To see if your URL is appearing, search for your URL on Google; if your URL is missing but this tool says it was indexed, here's how to find out why.

If you use a screwdriver for a hammer you will be disappointed.
