I have a big travel website (description of attractions and blog posts). Several Years ago we introduced a plebiscite for the most beautiful attractions. It is quite popular in our country.
Voting is one time a year (late spring) and then we get lots of links to plebiscite website (mostly from social channels).
It has separate domain, but is on the same server and every attraction links to my travel website.
Brand of plebiscite and main travel website is very connected.
My question is. Should I leave plebiscite website on a separate domain? Or maybe (from seo point of view) I should transfer it to subdomain of my main travel website? I will maintain plebiscite website for clear url and use 301 redirect to subdomain.
