Google SEO / Webflow Settings not working

Hi all,

I'm administrating a website for a company. Website is built on webflow. I want Google to display the information I set in SEO options on webflow (company description sentence/Tag) and display the subpages that I want to be displayed when somone sees the company in google search results.
Sort of like that:

    Promotion Keywords/Activity - COMPANY NAME

Company descrpition sentence using the sentence i set on webflow SEO options, and not a random part of some sentence from a paragraph like e.g. " (...)results of that. The Company is awarded by stuff and so on".

    SUBPAGE 1

    Activity one

    SUBPAGE 2

    Activity two

    SUBPAGE 3

    Activity three

So, at the moment they display a random part of a paragraph as the company's descrpition and display the wrong subpages with also wrong descriptions.

SHORT:

How can I tell Google to display the wished info for my website in the search results?

I'd appreciate your help on my request.

Thank you !

You can't, Google decides what it displays. The only thing you can do, if I'm not mistaken, is tell Google what you don't want displayed.

There are things you can do that will increase the probability that Google shows this information, such as using schema markup.

Hey NickMNS!

thank you very much for your answer and fast reply.

The problem of telling google to not display content, is actually telling google to completely ignore/hide it. I want peopple to find it still, just not when they google the company's name.

So I will try making friends with schema markup then. TY!

Is there a way to figure out why google DOES display what it actually displays?
