I came across this talk about SEO while researching other loosely related topics on youtube. I typically don't watch SEO video because more often than not it's always the same BS. But I had watched other talks by VC's from this conference and so I was curious to see what was being said about SEO to a non-SEO audience.
I thought the talk was very interesting the main thesis is that SEO should be intent focused, as opposed to keyword focused. It breaks down intent for e-commerce into three broad categories Learn, Browse, Buy and suggests that content needs to be tailored to each.
I don't think there is anything really ground breaking presented but it does provide a different perspective that I think could be effective. Here is the link
