The risk of removing my page from position zero?

Hello,

My website is in really competitive market in my country but I managed to get 1st in google within about 7 months. Now I am 1st in mobile and in position zero in desktop.

When the page went from 1st position to zero, CTR went from 20% down to 3-5%. So in desktop, my revenue dropped significantly.

The text Google is using in position zero is really unatractive and a very few people click it. I cannot edit the text in google. Even though I edit the excat part of my website, it wont get updated in Google.

So my question is: If, I put "data - no snippet" tag on that text on my website, I will get off from featured snippet? Then Google will either use some other part of my website, some competitor will go there or no one will be there, right?

Is there any other risks? I was 1st in google before I appeared in featured snippet, what do you reckon, will I get back my first place on desktop? Like I said, I am first in mobile SERP and nobody appears in position zero there.

Hello Jariuusit I'm copying your older post on the same topic from the thread about "Data-no snippet" How to Stop Parts of a Google SERPs Snippet From Showing so it can be included here as part of your topic. The concern was that we did not want two discussions on the same topic as that can confuse people.

In that thread [webmasterworld.com...] you had posted:
Hello,

I have a question about featured snippet.

I was 1st in google in a very competetive market in my country. Now, I am in position zero (featured snippet) in desktop and 1st in mobile. However, after desktop got "uppgraded" to position zero, its CTR went from 20% down to 3-5%. In mobile it is still around 20% since in our industry, no one is in position zero.

The text that is shown in featured snippet isnt attractive to our customers to click for some reason and obviously we cannot edit it. Even though I edit the text and recrawl the page, it wont change.

Is there any danger if I put the "data-no snippet" tag to that particular text google is showing in position zero at the moment? Do you guys think we would get off from the featured snippet on desktop and go back to being 1st in google? And can it effect mobile serp?

I hope that helps.
