MODS: I was not sure where to post this to get the best advice.

I have a client who wishes to add a Comments Board to their custom-built html5 website.

To save me time and effort, does Google have such a product?

If so what is yout experience with it.

If not a Google product then which?

It needs to be simple for my client to moderate / use.

The site only receives a few hundred visitors per week.

We'll start the discussion here because I'm guessing you want the comment board to rank in Google & looking for a good UGC SEO solution.

To be honest that never even crossed my mind!

I'm looking for a simple solution for his customers to comment about his products and services yet easy enough for him to administrate without constant reference to me.

Everything I'm considering seems to be a sledgehammer to crack a walnut.

The most common product is likely Disqus. It isn't a "Google" product but you do see it widely used, it offers moderation and a bunch of other features. I have never used on any sites, nor would I, but it is popular. The one feature to be a aware of is that it allows users to sign into it's service and then tracks the user's comments across websites, so essentially you are freely giving away user's to a third party, but if that is not a concern for you or your client then it may be a good choice.

Good suggestion NickMNS, I'll check it out.
