Google is rolling out its new mobile search redesign in the coming days.

I has explained how it wanted to simplify the interface, making text easier to read, and making the search information stand out. It goes on to explain the design includes edge-to-edge results, and colour highlights, and rounded icons and imagery.

Even wirthout any ads or answer boxes, that phone screen only shows the top three results.

Slightly more verticle space taken up with the new design, every change pushing down organics pixel by pixel. I just find google search so cluttered and distracting these day!

Do I care, what difference will it make to me?

Nothing insofar as I can see!

For evergreen content I shall continue to use DDG, for current / breaking Google's the only option ... for me.

DDG's cleaner and faster however it seems to be continually 2-3 months behind with updating sites and current / breaking is very haphazard plus it's UK results can be very USA-centric at times.

I don't have a problem with scrolling past the G advertissing saturation, I've gotten used to that therefore zero difference ... for me.

Like many others these days, we'll all adjust to what we feel comfortable with.
