I have about 4 sites in the same relative niche. Since the May Update, on, everytime a major algo update occurs the sites move up and down in rankings. Which is to be expected. When I go in and analyze any commonalities between those that move up or down. I find one glaring commonality.
In Search Console
For all the sites that moved up, no reports of pages that were crawled and NOT indexed.
Fall all sites that move down, 3-5% of pages on the site will be identified as being crawled and Not indexed. Also there is no error specified.
Every subsequent Update the sites would flip flop. Sites that had no errors, last Update, go down and now show 3-5% No index pages. Sites that were down go up, and show no errors in indexing now.
Just wondering if any one else is seeing this?
