Hi guys,

I have a new client who had 30% more organic traffic (YoY) until August 10 when everything drops by 50% and has remained there to this day.
Here is a screenshot from Ahrefs which shows drop the best - [prnt.sc...]

Google told us it was indexing bug and everything should be ok after fix but looks like my client stuck.

Anyone else faced a similar issue? any suggestions?

Here..still stuck.

Site is 1 year old. Was manually included in Google News. structured data. No link building, just natural links from other publications.
So I've done nothing at all, and am awaiting the next core update as I think this is Google's mistake.

Can u upload your GA stats?
I really cant trust Ahrefs for such important conclusions, when even a change at their algorithm can look like your traffic has changed, when this is not true.

We also never recovered after that. The traffic and impressions are continuously dropping after that day. We were also affected by the core update May 2020 about 50% traffic loss. Since then the traffic is frozen and going down and down. Lots of things have been changed on the website in a positive way. Something is wrong for sure and noway that was an indexing failure. That was a failure with Google's ranking demotion system.
