I have a multilingual website so i want to know that if the image packaging label is in the English language and overall content in the local language so what should be the best option to write alt text?
A) Local Language Alt text
B) English Language Alt text as written in the image
C) None of these

The alt text on an image should be in the language of the page since it used by screen readers for those that cannot see and need the page read to them.

Hello,

B) English Language Alt text as written in the image

Alt is a textual alternative of the image. So, if the image is made of a text in English, then, to me, it would make sense to write the alt in English too.

(d) other.

If the image includes text in English then that can stay in English, but surely that isn’t the main purpose of the image--and, by extension, of its alt. Describe the picture in the site’s main language. I doubt people are poring over the image to see the words “Batteries Not Included”; that kind of information would be present in the body text anyway.
