Hi all,

I wonder if anyone met with a traffic problem after google's updates in 2020?
I don't see there are any important updates but our site and blog have been hit badly.

We used to have about 200k traffic a month, now it only has 60k traffic a month. Can anyone give any suggestions on the issue? Much appreciate!

How can anyone give any suggestions if we have no clue about your site or what changes have happened on it during the last months?

For a complete understanding of what happened to your site, some data is of course needed.
Since they are not there, I advise you to use special services that will help you analyze the traffic on your site, maybe they will indicate the reasons why the traffic fell.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld sellerhow

As jediviper noted we need to know much more before anyone can comment however do not post a link to your site.

but our site and blog have been hit badly.

Is it a website plus blog or solely a blog?

Is it WordPress based?

In which general sector are you?

Which country?

Target market?

Anything that may help.

First of all Welcome to WebmasterWorld sellerhow!

Is only the traffic down, or is the visibility in Google also affected? Due to the current pandemic, user interest has changed significantly. Some sites are getting way more traffic, while others are getting way less. The market where your site operates in might give a clue if this is the case.

Thanks for all your reply. My mistake not provided more info on this issue.

We are a website plus a blog dedicated to serving Amazon sellers. We offer services, news, and tactics on how to run a successful Amazon business.

We did not make big changes in the last months, only updated new articles every month using normal on-page SEO tips like we used to do, and the website and blog was Wordpress based. We target mostly on the US market.

If searching for our website name, it still shows on the first result but it does not have sitelinks like a formal website. Our blog exposure keeps dropping down. So, I was wondering if Google has made any new changes on blog contents rankings or if there is any SEO checklist that we can follow to save this situation.
