@Jawadsatti ... Welcome to Webmasterworld.

A few weeks is not enough time to determine what is going on.

How new is the site? Might be early love and then losing it?

Games is a tough niche, too much competition and the users are fickle ... what is fun one day is boredom the next.

Give it a month AT LEAST, then report back.

Lot of sites in their 3rd month :)

By the way, the change in your ranking might be coincidence, and indirectly related to what you did (or not) at your site. Google keeps updating its ranking algorithm all the time.

Now, the thing is, it's possible that your site had a boost because it was new. In the past, it was common for new content to get a temporary boost , a "freshness" reward.

Most times a site layout will NOT result in a general de-ranking ... if that were true then every site that went from old to responsive over the last 12 years would be weeping on each other's shoulders.

For a site this new you likely had a gratuitous serp presentation so g could gauge user engagement to your content, ie. where to put you in the cue for future ranking.

Initial jump might also have been game related, followed by content examination/user/bounce, etc and the result is a lowered position. To overcome that you need REAL CONTENT that is FRESH and UNIQUE and EVERYDAY you need to be FRESH AND UNIQUE to achieve first page, much less #1...

Good luck!

NOTE: we are all trying to do exactly the same thing!

Unique and above 1500 words.

Unique, accurate and relative, yes, 1,500 words, fallacy!

Obligatory reminder: In order for one site to get lower, another site has to get higher. Have you been keeping track of the surrounding sites? Who is moving up, who is moving down? Have any of them changed? Looking at the overall ranking within those three-or-more pages will, if nothing else, give you a clearer picture of who is moving and in which direction. Sure, whip out your colored markers and start drawing graphs. It's fun, and may prove educational.

I'm assuming based on your screen shot that you are specifically referring to one page dropping in ranking? Or did it happen across many pages simultaneously? As others previously said, I wouldn't worry about it on a new site. Seems to be in the realm of normal fluctuations. Good luck!
