My site has been on Google News for over a year. No problems with it and it’s been working fine up until last week. In the last week, none of my articles are showing on Google News and our site isn’t being picked up in the top stories carousel for the keywords we usually show for.
This led me to checking the new Publisher Center (which I hadn’t been to yet), and my already-approved site was showing as a publication ‘in draft’. I completed whatever it required me to do, but then I read it doesn’t matter if publishers submit their sites to the new publisher center, Google will from now on automatically include sites. That’s all well and good - but I’m confused as to why my already approved site is now no longer visible at all.
It started to show briefly yesterday (for about an hour) before disappearing again. I'm quite worried about this - AMP articles are responsible for over half of my traffic from Google, so not showing in the top stories carousel would really, really hinder my site and my income. I've possibly already lost upwards of £500 in the past week by not being on there.
I’ve seen some comments regarding this issue so I think at least a few publishers are dealing with this. Anyone else?
