My affiliate links (with proper canonical) are indexed by Google

Hi guys!

I have a problem with my affiliate links being indexed. When I search for "brand + ace" my page with "affnid" parameter shows up in SERP - [prntscr.com...]
Example of the link ...ps://www.xxxx.com/xxxxx?affnid=ACE&bid=144013-73887-c945ef8e57bae2dcfd2d3890375c96ae...

All pages with parameter have canonical pointing to clean URL but Google indexed it anyway.
Affiliate links are not on my website. Google picked it up on an external affiliate page.

Any suggestion what I can do to remove them form index?

Developers have problem with implementing "noindex" meta tag on pages that contains "affnid" parameter in URL.
Robots txt can't help because I don't have an affiliate link on my page.
URL parameters tool in SC is about crawling my page, not affiliates webpage where are my links.

A funny thing, my page is on 1st position for "brand + ace" keyword. Word "ace" does not appear anywhere on my pages, only in URL as parameter.
So in this case, the only ranking factor is content of URL?

Sounds like you are performing a weird search query that no real user would ever do if I understand you correctly. Why bother worrying about something real users will not see?

if your developers cannot do this, i would question their competence in general. (unless you are using a third party cms, that prevents/blocks doing so, for some reason)

... although i agree with goodroi

Its because of you are using any filter or pagination on site, with canonical tag also add this command to robots.txt.

User-agent: *
Disallow: *?

It will disallow search engines to index links which contain ?
I hope it will be very helpful for you.
