HI,

Do I need the AMP version of my blog? My website loads fast enough for both desktop and mobile version. But if the AMP can increase my organic search and traffic on google I would like to implement it. Is it really worth implementing AMP for search result?

To use or not use AMP is not a simple question. It can potentially help different things (page speed, usability, etc) & it can potentially also hurt different things (analytics, design limitations, etc). Do your research and figure out if your personal situation might gain enough to make the potential problems worth the hassle.

Good to hear that your website loads quickly on desktop & mobile device.

Yes, it is really worth to implement AMP plugin on WP websites. Because 60% of the searches are from a mobile device. If you activate AMP for your website it will still load quickly on a mobile device as it is ranking factor.

Once you implement AMP, check your website on a mobile device after the site is crawled. You'll get a different experience in terms of UI, site navigation and the URL will be also changed (which will be with /amp/).

You can check the AMP issues in your webmaster tools and inform the technical team to fix it.
No issues= Better results.

Thank you for the insightful comment. Will try it out. I did a researched and saw most of the website who dont like amp ideas on 2016 even install the amp in 2019. Eg, searchengineland, semrush blog etc. May be it is worth to try it out.

Thank you

Know what amp really does then make the decision. That said, even g is not quite as hot for amp as the early days and IMHO will probably follow the path of other initiatives g has proposed over the years.

Theoretically one can code a fast, lean, good looking website on their own and would have no need for amp.
