One of my clients wants to redirect only one page of their website to a different domain. Would this be good from SEO point of view?
How to do it keeping all the seo factors in mind?
I searched everywhere on Google but didn't find anything relevant to this.

The question is too vague.

A 301 redirect of one page , to another page (like the home page of another domain name), should carry the benefits the original page had ... BUT: Is the redirection legitimate and does it make sense? If this is to redirect a page, to another page with similar content it's okay. If this is to redirect a page to another page, totally unrelated, this is bad, and Google will not be fooled, and see that it's an attempt at boosting the second page profile. See what I mean?

So in other words, you redirect a page, because the content moved to the new location.

Redirection is from a single page of a website (not the whole website) to a fresh domain which has no history of anything. That fresh domain would be the new website for the page I want to redirect.

That fresh domain would be the new website for the page I want to redirect.

To me it sounds okay. The "content" is moving form one page, to a new domain, so "to me" this is right.

Wait for experts to confirm or not.

"good" for which page?
"goodness" depends on your objective.

What are the alternatives? Leave things as they are, move the content but don’t redirect, let one page of the new domain be the same as one page of the old domain, redirect to a new part (new directory or subdomain) of the old domain, some other option that I haven’t thought of?

I think you may be approaching the question from the wrong direction. It's not “Is this the right action to take?” or “What are the consequences of suchandsuch action?” but rather “If I want to achieve suchandsuch goal, what is the best way to go about it?” (Weirdly, this comes up more in the technical forums like Apache. Don’t just dive into your code; first you need to figure out where you want to go.)

Are you planning to remove the internal links to the old page on the old domain? You could leave them as they are, or you could remove them without changing anything else, or you could convert them to outlinks directly to the new page, or only convert some of them'
