Google News Carousel - Make Article 'Live?'

When you search for something like 'XYZ live updates' or 'XYZ live news', Google shows articles from publishers with the live tag in their top stories, like this: [imgur.com...]

I'm running a WordPress site with Yoast, is there a way to implement the tag to a certain post so it shows up the same way in the results?

Appreciate any help regarding this. Thanks!

I've never noticed the LIVE tag, but appears to be a test google started several years ago. One of those things that google decides when and where it wants it added. I'm not aware of how you can force this yourself.
