Page ranking for keywords but not ranking for product brand name

Hi Guys! I have a puzzle and perhaps someone knows something about what could cause this issue.

I have an ecommerce website, which is ranking fairly well in its country. However, sometime last year, a few months after the Medic update this happened - one product disappeared from the SERPs for its brand name. But the url is still ranking well for the keywords I have optimized the page for.

Since it disappeared, I updated the store with language based url-s. So, I tried to copy the page, create a new url for it in each language and put a redirect to it from the old url.
It didn't work.

At the same time, other competitors rank for the same brand name (as we also are a distributor for the brand).
Internationally we also rank for this brand name. It is only in this one country this has happened.

Has anyone had anything similar happen and found a solution? What could be causing this?
Yes, all the other sellers have the same text for the product, however I see a lot of duplicate content in our search results, so I don't think this is the cause.
There's not a lot of competition either on the brand for this country - after a few pages in local language we already get youtube and international results.

Thanks!

Any chance that, in this one country, the brand name has a secondary meaning in the language of that country? I've seen it happen, which is why I ask.

Nope, it is a brand name that has no meaning in the local language. And our customers that purchase this product from us and have websites, rank for the same brand.
