Hello

We have jobs by profile pages. almost 2000 pages are there

What we are doing

1. We are picking random 15 links from the list
2. Displaying on home page
3. Every time when a user will open home page then he will see different links on home page
4. May be google will distribute our home page SEO rank to them

I want to know, its good or bad that putting random internal links on home page?

Regards
Gaurav

I doubt you'll see any effect on your ranking by using random links this way. Many sites have similar features, so Google is used to seeing the technique and undoubtedly adjusts to it - probably by ignoring or devaluing the links.

I have a similar on several sites ... makes no difference to the indexing. Meanwhile, the REST of the page (where these random inserts are made) is spot on for the site itself, so the page still does well.

As rainborick observes, I doubt there is any "seo" love to the random pages ... those get their value from natural links to that content. Internal navigation (which this is) has a different value and usually is not SEO related.

Hello

i am not talking about indexing. i am talking about DA , PA of my root domain page and SEO keyword ranking of my main page.

If we put random links like this then our ranking will drop or not as i feel my home page link juice will distribute in so many pages
