It was announced a while back, but it appears it's now here, in the U.S., the Google mobile home page had a news feed, or discover feed.
On the mobile web, a feed of cards now appear below the Search field, exactly like in the Google app on Android and iOS. Above each story is a topic header that features Discoverís star icon that can be clicked to see more related articles.

Cards feature a cover image, title, and brief summary, as well as the site name and published date. An overflow menu in the upper-right corner allows you to dismiss (or hide), say youíre not interested in the topic, or block the site from appearing in Discover again.

Guess I better think more about a queryless search world.

I use the Google mobile home page on a couple devices. I have yet to see anything resembling a news feed or discover feed and I access their home pages dozens if times daily.

I also sometimes use the Bing mobile home page and have it default on the Edge browser. They offer a news feed, but it's not the actual search home page.
