- from December 2017 to January 2018 I had -50 / -55% visitors (there was an update of the algorithm).

- end of May the inclusion email in mobile first arrives.

- June -9%, July + 2%, August + 4% return to growth

- 1/26 weeks + 2%, from September 27th the collapse, about September 28th - 30% compared to the last Friday of September last year and maybe it's not over ..

.
I always have doubts about MOBILE FIRST because after the inclusion in the new index I recovered and now that Google on September 20 included new sites to one week return to decline ..

Thanks for sharing. Your time period crosses over several updates to Google which could be impacting your traffic metrics.

IMHO a mobile first email doesn't necessarily mean anything because we don't know the status of our competition. If our desktop & mobile versions are basically the same, then we will have basically the same rankings. I would focus on other factors before looking too much at mobile first (assuming your mobile pages are properly built).

Whatever you've lost, they've gained. That's the way to look at it. There was a video game from the 80's called Beach Head 2. Check that out because it's essentially like the organic traffic getting picked off before it has a chance to land on your or my site. Not a sexy answer or one that you can sell services on, granted. But it's the truth.
