couple of questions regarding schema markup and its possible effects on SEO.

I have a magento that uses schema markup that says we are LocalBusiness type entity

I have competitors that use schema type Organisation and they come ahead of me and seem to do better in more 'general' keyword terms - where my long tail more specific searches sometimes do better than them (of course there im not saying it is just schema that is responsible for this , but im asking about that area for feedback)

Does anyone know or think if the use of Organisation or LocalBusiness can have an effect on how and for what for you appear in the SERPs?

Also a seperate but related question, some months ago I merged my blog.maindomain.com wordpress site that was used for articles to be intergrated into maindomain.com/articles - but in GSC those wordpress pages show as having Organisation markup (not local business). So i have a mix of about 370 pages with LocalBusiness markup and about 40 with Organisation.
Could mixing types like this have an confusing or negative effect?

The LocalBusiness schema is invaluable for local search, especially voice search.

High scores at the various review sites also helps boost local search rank.

Voice search is gaining usage. I get in my car and ask Google enabled search for the nearest _______ business and the ones suggested rank high in local search because of schema, reviews and business listings.

Organization may do better with WWW search.

Yeah, because I have both physical office and ecommerce sales I dont want to change from LocalBusiness to Organisation but if having Organisation means i perform much better in SERPs overall and therefore get more online conversions it could be worth it , so was exploring what people thought.
In the past the physical office was the main business but now it is more of a support to the eCommerce business (needed for licences I require also) but the revenue I make online is around 80% of the total now so it is possible it could be worth forgoing the LocalBusiness for better performance in serps from Organisation.
That is why im trying to find out what , if any, difference it might make.
