I have a question as I have been looking for answer for the past couple of weeks.
What would you class as a widget link? So I work in a the lead generation niche and we generate leads for a number of different moving services. In the UK we have a number of sites like <snip> etc. who do a similar thing. Most recently I have been looking through their backlinks and noticed that a high percentage of their links come from their partners (builders etc.) who link back to their partner/reviews page via a logo. There is no no follow tag on the majority of these and these sites have 1000's of traders using their services.
Now I imagine the HTML is available via their partner dashboard. So is this classed as a widget link?
We have a similar set up where our partners can link back to their reviews page but I got our developers to add a no follow tag to the HTML. Should I re-think this?
Any help would be appreciated.
