Google News shocked all the publishers earlier today!

They have removed thousands of sites, including mine which was a 'highly cited' by other authority sites almost every week. It's worth noting that authority sites violating every policy of Google News is still there. I am talking about a site with hundred Alexa, 90+ DA, publishing same content 3-4 times with different titles to hijack Google News and Top Stories hasn't been removed.

I'm shocked, my hands were literally shaking while typing this post. I feel depressed, upset and lifeless.

I wonder if similar mistakes might occasionally affect other parts of google's index, causing temporary accidental disruptions in the search results.

MayankParmar,

I was saddened to read your initial post. :(

But I'm happy to hear that your livelihood is back on track. :)

Good luck and all the best to you!

I learned this lesson about 8 years ago. My ending wasn't happy like this one however.

For the record, there's a post in the google product forums which suggests publishers should contact the support team at Google if their site is missing from Google News.
Hi all,
I see a number of posts here inquiring about the status of missing or unlisted sites in Google News. The best and quickest way to get attention from us is by contacting our dedicated support team at the Google News Publisher Help Center. We won't be able to troubleshoot individual private publisher concerns on this public forum. Thanks for your understanding.
