All Google Analytics Users on an Account Will See Who Else Has Access

According to a label on Google analytics, all users on your account will soon be able to see who else has access to that account, regardless of permissions.

That seems a rather odd move on GA. Surely, privacy is more important!

Some years back, I vaguely remember that Google justified one of their password setups by suggesting it forced you to hire people you trusted, rather than simply outsource to unknown contractors. Sorry I don't have that reference, but I think it's analogous to what they're doing here. Perhaps their thinking is that an open list of people with access is more secure than a closed list.
