I'm building a new page and I have a situation where I am thinking of collapsing some text behind a read more button for the mobile view. In the past I know that Google's position was that this is okay for the mobile view, provided that the content was visible on the desktop view since the desktop view was used for indexing.
My question is, given Google's move towards the mobile first index, what is the current consensus on collapsed content (eg: read more button)? Will the content be indexed?
