Will Google permit use of my Place Page reviews on my website?

Microformat can be used to display star ratings on organic listings, webmaster can control that without any real reviews...I find that a little dangerous as it can be abused, did a test and put a fake review and sure enough, within 7 days they showed up...this is too easy...!

What I want to do is either:

A. Manually insert my Google reviews taken from my Google places listing

B. Get the snippet to aggregate Google places reviews ratings

I prefer the B. options, but I just can't find any tutorial on how to do this, or is it even possible?

Will using method A. get me penalised or worse...banned?

Anything can get you penalized. Things that are 100% allowed today might eventually be a penalty in the future. IMHO too few people deal with the review microformat/schema so it hasn't justified Google to divert resources and police it more strictly. If it does become a bigger problem, I think it is more likely Google will just ignore the data before penalizing it. If your page is anemic, I would suggest you also think about possible duplicate content issues if you copy a big volume of review data.

I'm leery of any third party content (as content) on my sites. Some things just aren't worth the risks.
