Stuck in Google Rankings

Hi Webmasters,
My website is stuck on Page 5 and 2 on Google rankings for 3 months now - Target keywords are High competition, More than 100 Quality manual backlinks - Any advise on how to get the site improve the rankings - will be highly appreciated?

If it is high competition than 100 backlinks is probably not enough and I would guess you have a bunch more issues. For a little glimpse of the many different ways to optimize a website check out this recent thread [webmasterworld.com...]

I'm afraid you are never going to rank with links like that. It's not 2002 any more. You site has nothing but unnatural directory type links and it's also blatantly over optimised. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I would bet my house that the site is under a penguin penalty/filter with a link profile like that.

If I can tell within 1 second of what it is you are trying to rank for, you can bet Google is approx a million steps ahead. Sorry.
