Best ranking monitoring tool

I am currently using a tool called AgencyAnalytics (previously mySEOtool), it gives an overview of rankings on a daily basis for a large volume of different websites for us to keep an eye on them for any changes on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly comparison for selected keywords.

However, they only monitor specific keywords given and not other variants and we can't completely rely on the data as sometimes their bot doesn't seem to pick up certain SERP listings. So it'll list them as second when actually, they appear in the structured snippet as first and the beneath organic listing as first.

My question is, what tools do other people use? And how do you use them? I'm looking for comparative functionality for keywords, overview site audits and auto-generated reports that has a user-friendly interface.

Mods Note: We normally don't allow mentioning specific SEO tools because of spam/self-promotion issues but we are going to make an exception in this particular thread. When sharing your input remember to be fair and mention the good & bad aspects of the ranking tool. If we suspect spam or self-promotional posting we are going to err on the side of caution and delete first. Thanks!

RoosterKath, the SERPs monitoring tools are always likely have a certain level of inaccuracy.

Here's a link to a thread where we discussed some tools earlier.
