Hi,

Is it still the case that Google, and other search engines, will cache DNS records so they continue to use old IP addresses long after the TTL has expired from when they checked? Or is that a thing of the distant past?

Googled and searched on here but couldn't find any mention of it.

Thanks
Nigel

I don't know if they do, but I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure they'll recheck the DNS once they're unable to connect or get unexpected results.
