Hello everyone,

I have finished developing a python script to fetch information from google search console.

I have made this script to check a few things from one of my websites and I discovered fascinating things.

For instance.

One article with 2000 visits per month where 90% of the traffic comes from Filipinas! My traffic is standard English USA,UK,AUS,CANADA...

I have already found the solution for my problem, find which of my pages are suffering and causing canalization. That's a way to use this data also.

I can also check which pages have more/less keywords ranked and compare the pages ranking for the last months...

Which pages improved their CTR, Position, Impressions etc etc

I am willing to share the script with someone(s) that could feed me a couple more ideas of things to analyze and improve a website having access to all search console dimensions.

I can simply give you a copy of the script and you are free to fly or provide you a sql file with a mysql dump of the data ready to query, or a excel spreadsheet. You name it.

Regards,
Helder

Some quick ideas off the top of my head...

Increase of mobile traffic for specific pages to spot potential amp opportunity
Archive old keyword data for safe keeping
Spot important link partners that stop linking

Mods Note: If you post generic editorializing, whether pro or con, it will likely be removed. We're not here just to vent, we're here to help each other understand. The noise level that editorializing creates makes it difficult to filter through threads for information of real value.

Check out a tool called Keylime Toolbox. I think storing the data and being able to visualise the data as you would in Google Search Console would be great just as a basic thing.
