How i verify my business in Google My Business.
It's done by business name. If you have the same business name for all sites, you'll only be able to get one business listing, so choose the domain you want associated with it. If you have a different business name for each site, then you can get different business listings, each associated with a different site.

I would start by opening a Google Search Console [google.com] account. Then add each individual site to your Sites.

From inside each Site listing, there is a link on the bottom-left named Other Resources > Google My Business. From there you can create your business listing in Google Search & Google local search, which will put you on Google Maps.

It sometimes takes over a week to receive your verification through the mail. You should get one for each site if each has a different business name.

mara, I have time for only a hurried answer, but it might help clarify your situation, which will affect how Google will view your listing. Are these businesses...

- multiple businesses with separate business licenses, separate phone numbers, separate "suite" numbers, etc... all at the same building location?

- or is this a variant on some sort of shared office arrangement, with multiple people running different businesses?

- or is this one business operation offering multiple services?...
- - from different people?
- - from the same person?

- or might this be a maildrop location for business that aren't even physically at this location?

These, among others, are all possibilities that Google needs to deal with. As you can see from my list, which is by no means complete, it's possible in this single address situation for one business or service to try to get multiple listings, and Google tends to resist that.

In general, Google is going to trust the businesses with the largest verifiable degree of separation. I would say that separate phone numbers might be key, but in the case of shared office suites where there's, say, a shared phone operator or receptionist, that might not apply, so Google will look for other signals.

In questionable areas, Google is also likely to favor businesses or service providers who have already established online reputations (or "citations" on the web) independent of Google listings, and independent of each other. Google most likely is aware of the physical structure of the building, and how many offices there are.

I'm assuming, btw, that you're asking about the professional service provider(s) you were referring to in this thread, which you'd posted about a month ago....

Someone else will have to handle follow-up discussion, but I hope this helps.

1. one business operation offering multiple services, from the same person.
Probably the least likely to get separate listings, except maybe for the mail drop.

2. Shared office arrangement , multiple people running different businesses.
Would require additional confirmation, as I noted above. Google would want confirmation via trusted citations.

My list went from the most likely to be trusted to the least likely, and you're pushing the bottom.

Just wanted to chime in on this. I currently have a customer with about 8 business running from 1 location, all with the same address, phone number, etc...

The workaround is to simply add a suite # to your address, changing the suite number for each page you need. You would get a G snail-mail verification for each page address (each suite). I've used this solution with a couple different customers over the last couple years and never had an issue with doing it this way... Hope that helps..
