Hi There,

Is there a way to block a site from displaying in the the Google SERP's for specific countries?
We are seeing small amount of traffic in countries where we actually do not operate, meaning we aren't actually able to service these users.

Thanks

You can target a specific country in Google Search console, which may change your rankings in individual countries somewhat, but that is about it. Removing sites from Google's SERPs in a specific country is not possible, unless required by local law or a court order.

What you can do is use a Geo-IP library and redirect traffic from those countries to a sorry page. Be careful though because legitimate customers may be travelling or living as expat in the countries which you don't want to serve. I am one of those living in another country than where I normally do my on-line activities and it is really frustrating to visit websites where the site owner decided that all nationals from a country should also visit from that country and has setup a geo-wall.
