Hi-

I keep reading about how Google considers the "quality" of pages, as a ranking factor (speed, user's experience, etc…).

I was wondering if these kinds of criteria of quality are measured only by Googlebot's activity, or does Google Chrome collects information too, and forward them to Google ?

Thanks,

When it comes to the information gathered by Chrome browsers, nobody outside of Google knows the answer to your question - at least not the complete answer. I mean, it wouldn't' surprise me if the rendering engine that Google search relies on for some quality factors contains some technology that is also in Chrome. But from there you get into "quality" factors that are largely speculative.
