Google: The Web is 130 Trillion Pages, and Growing

According to Google's "How Search Works" is reporting the web is made of 130 trillion pages, however, it doesn't specifically say 130 trillion are indexed. It also indicates that the index is over 100 million gigabytes.

What's interesting, in this simplistic diagram is the line which follows through Site and page quality, freshness, safesearch (for obvious reasons), user content, and it continues to refer to "over 200 factors." It then goes on through translation, and universal search.

Google says it's supporting more than 100 billion searches each month.

Thats surprisingly low! haha wups a lot of those pages will be spam I made to give google something to crawl I am almost at 1 trillion pages already :) Google wastes my resources so I waste googles.

Google serves 100 billion search queries to access those 130 trillion pages. That makes the chance that someone lands on a specific page through a Google search less than 0.1% per month. With a lot of search queries leading to a small set of popular pages, it is safe to say that much more than 99.9% of the internet is out of reach of the search user.
