Dear forum,
I would like to have my website in google news, however when I applied I got the message back that it wasn't any good. Do you see the reason what I am doing wrong here ?
thanks,

To get into Google News you need to be a news site. Make sure that it is very obvious you are a news site and not a personal blog or a commercial store. Then build up a group of writers with bios on your website. Make sure to use journalistic standards and don't try to get into Google News as a backdoor to spam the serps. Make sure your content is impressive to boost your chances of being approved. 200 word articles that look like they are autogenerated and keyword stuffed spam aren't a good idea. I find that publishing more often everyday also makes it easier to be approved (you can slow down once you have been approved. The more impressive you make your site and the more you exceed the minimum standards, the easier it will be to get approved.
Go read [support.google.com...] and make sure you have done everything they mention on that page.
ps I find Google News has been less beneficial recently. It used to drive much more traffic. There are so many other things being included in the universal serps that Google News slice of attention from the serps seems to be shrinking.

All goodroi said above. More important you need to be pulling at least a mil daily consistently for six (6) months to be considered "news" and even then, given concerns by a growing number of net users that g is actively gaming "the news" in a biased way that niche just ain't cool any longer.
Play the game (web), but do it sincere, with true heart, and ALWAYS for the user FIRST and you will thrive: "Build it, and they will come."
