So everyone that has done some SEO knows that having 5 yellow stars under your search result is kind of awesome for click through rate, sales and raking, because it projects trust.
So what a few of my dishonorable competitors have done is this:
1. Create 2 or 3 fake 5 star reviews using rich snippets on each of their articles (they only do 2 or 3 to make it seem legit)
2. Don't let actual users rate the articles
3. Profit
At first I thought like authors this would get patched ASAP, but now it has been like a year.
I tried submitting spam reports but it only lets me report a single page and not an actual whole site that is using a manipulative fake review scheme.
Anyone else up against this garbage?
