Hi I've enabled gzip on my webpage, which helps. However I'm not sure if the responsive version that goes to the mobile phone's browser is gzipped compressed as well.

How to I figure out if the mobile phones are receiving gzipped content as well? Thanks so much!

You should be able to determine this by looking at the sizes of the page downloads in your server logs.

Some phone browsers may not accept gzipped files, so what happens could vary from one phone type to another. But your server logs should tell you what's happening in each case.

Webpagetest.org can tell you this (select "Dulles, VA USA Android / iOS 9" test location).
