I see that a few 'featured snippets' are sneaking back. I haven't seen many since the side ads were dropped. There are now up to four ads at the top plus a featured snippet for some searches and the organics, as usual, are disappearing down below the fold. Are these snippets really paid ads? They are not marked as such but only feature the sites of the big-spending brands. Coincidence, no doubt.
